Customize and extend WordPress functionalities using custom themes, plugins, and APIs. Optimize website performance and implement caching strategies to ensure optimal speed and scalability. Conduct thorough code reviews and debugging to identify and resolve issues, ensuring high quality code and adherence to project requirements. Collaborate with the project management team to estimate project timelines, identify potential risks, and propose effective technical solutions. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in WordPress development and implement best practices to continuously enhance our development processes. Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior developers, fostering their professional growth and maintaining a collaborative team environment. Contribute to the development of internal tools, frameworks, and standards to improve efficiency and productivity. Effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, manage client expectations, and build strong relationships with clients based on trust and professionalism. Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). Minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a WordPress developer, specificallyworking on enterprise-level projects. Extensive knowledge of WordPress core, themes, and plugins, including custom post types, taxonomies, and the WordPress REST API. Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and React.js. Strong understanding of PHP and MySQL, with experience in writing optimized and efficient database queries. Solid experience in responsive web design, cross-browser compatibility, and mobile-first development. Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Ability to write clean, modular, and maintainable code, following best practices and coding standards. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
