The Finance Solution team provides Platform Strategy, architecture, and Functional support for all BNYM MIS applications. Team partners closely with Business Stakeholders, MIS technology and MIS Operations teams to ensure that application platforms are managed effectively and provide great business value to our stakeholders. MIS applications includes centralized MIS reporting platform along with various planning and Forecasting applications for supporting Revenue, Expense and Headcount data. These applications are developed primarily in IBM Planning Analytics (PA) Platform (formerly TM1). Team is looking for a candidate to partner with global teams and provide functional, reporting and operational support. Candidate would also be heavily contributing to platform strategy and architecture. Candidates would be expected to work closely with IBM and help integrate new technology feature in our MIS platforms. The successful candidate must have strong TM1 functional knowledge along with global experience in working closely with Business Stakeholders to deliver platform solutions. Any experience in MIS Platform strategy and architecture would be a strong plus. Candidate must have strong communication and collaborative/partnership skills as the role is expected to interface with multiple global internal and external parties.We're seeking a future team member for the role of IBM Planning Analytics MIS Functional Lead to join our Finance Solution team. This role is located in Pittsburgh, PA- HYBRID.In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways: Coordination of business requirement analysis and functional support with MIS technology.Development of functional specifications for technical delivery.Partner with MIS Operational team and provide monthly processing support.Ideate and brainstorm on various efficiencies and automation opportunities around MIS platforms and processes.Modeling for various business solutions, using TM1 platform.Partner with Finance Reporting and Analytics team and streamline data integration with MIS platforms.Contribute significantly to MIS Strategy and architecture. To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following: Bachelor's degree in management information systems, Finance, Informatics, or similar analytical field10+ Years of experience in providing MIS solutions to clients, using TM1 technology.Experience in migrating legacy applications to modern functionality is a plus.Great understanding of Financial Planning budgeting and forecasting functions and related processes.Experience in developing objects in TM1/Planning Analytics includes cubes/rules/dimensions/MDX expressions/turbo Integrator processes.Automation of processes and jobs in TM1/Planning AnalyticsAbility to identify process improvement opportunities.Advanced knowledge of SQL, database technologies and data warehouse design philosophiesDemonstrated history of problem solving and business partnering skills.Excellent analytical problem-solving skills and strong intellectual curiosity Comfortable working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment with changing demands.Strong interpersonal communication skillsA work ethic based on strong desire to exceed expectations.Strong written and verbal communication skills with a customer focused, professional demeanorAt BNY Mellon, our inclusive culture speaks for itself.
