We are currently seeking a Sr. Technical Recruiter to join our team!
This position is FULLY REMOTE with periodic in-office requirements of at least once every three months.
Must reside within a 30-min to one-hour drive of the Ft. Belvoir, VA / Springfield, VA area. Summary: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Sr. Technical Recruiter for Oneida Innovations Group (O.I.G.) and its subsidiaries. This individual will be responsible for full life cycle recruitment and pipeline development of technical candidates for a variety of roles supporting Information Technology (IT) applications, with an emphasis on recruitment for U.S. Government and Department of Defense (DoD) contracts. The Sr. Technical Recruiter will also support the contract RFP process by reviewing the hiring requirements, evaluating candidate availability in the market, and sourcing and screening potential candidates to obtain letters of intent for pending contract awards. The Sr. Technical Recruiter will establish and manage relationships with outside vendors (posting sites, search firms, temporary employment agencies, etc.), as well as with other sourcing channels (exiting military, universities, alumni associations) as part of developing a scalable, flexible, best-delivered-cost sourcing strategy to meet evolving business needs.
Duties & Responsibilities: Source, recruit, and onboard qualified candidates in accordance with contract requirements. Engage in daily interactions with clients and internal stakeholders to understand recruitment needs. Develop detailed job descriptions with a focus on IT and U.S. Government and DoD clients. Review and resolve discrepancies in requisitions to ensure alignment with contractual terms and technical requirements. Facilitate communication between internal and external recruiting teams to ensure a comprehensive understanding of client needs. Conduct thorough technical screenings of candidates, including resume alignment, skills assessment, and fit for positions. Manage interview schedules with client managers and oversee the candidate onboarding process for compliance with client standards. Work directly with the company Facility Security Officer to process Government Security Clearance credentials. Ensure timely and accurate addition of personnel into the Timekeeping System. Build strong relationships with current clients and ensure satisfaction with our services. Collaborate with the recruiting team to conduct candidate interviews, make recommendations for advancement, and coordinate candidate progression in the interview process. Manage subcontracting relationships and ensure program compliance with EEO/AAP best practices. Provide regular status updates on quality, delivery, and performance to O.I.G. Engage with corporate functions and initiatives to ensure project compliance and employee engagement. Minimum Qualifications: Must reside in the Northern Virginia/Metro DC area. Bachelor's Degree in a Business, Management, or technical discipline with 3+ years of technical recruiting experience; or an Associate's Degree with 5+ years of technical recruiting experience. Full life cycle technical recruitment/staffing or government contracting recruitment/staffing experience in a fast-paced, diverse environment. Experience managing highly complex and large-scale staffing projects or programs. Must possess technical knowledge, both of current technology and emerging trends. Demonstrated success in full lifecycle recruiting owning each stage of the recruiting lifecycle while ensuring best-in-class candidate and client experience. Knowledge of applicable employment laws and practices. Very strong communication (written and verbal) skills in private and public forums. Understanding and application of staff augmentation, human capital acquisition, service delivery, vendor management, and project management best practices. Demonstrates strong ability to build relationships across a diverse stakeholder environment. Must be highly organized and detail-oriented; especially in regards to filling staffing positions timely. Must have the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Available to travel locally, regionally and nationally as needed for staffing projects.
