Key Responsibilities and Success Metrics: #1) Proactively manage client relationships to prepare and sign tax returns in your book of business
Success Metrics Average 10 returns per day, or 50 returns per 40-hour work week* Less than 3% of your returns need to be amended Retain at least 98.5% of your clients quarter-over-quarter #2) Peer review tax returns, provide review notes, and provide training/mentorship to entry-level accountants
Success Metrics Complete 4 - 8 hours of peer review per week over the course of two-to-four assigned peer review blocks Average 15 - 30 returns reviewed each week with peer notes in accordance with your assigned peer review blocks (Averaging four returns reviewed including review notes per hour of peer review block(s)) Provide 2 - 4 hours of training and mentorship to entry-level accountants based off review notes Measure of success: Less than 5% of returns reviewed need to be reworked after final review #3) Provide miscellaneous tax services to clients upon request e.g. letters, payroll, sales tax returns, etc.
