This position includes full lifecycle mechanical and systems engineering of unmanned systems, sensor systems, and geotechnical projects and products.
This job requires a candidate to lead system design activities such as developing and managing system, hardware and software requirements, developing system architectures and designs, performing system level integration/test and assisting in validation for complex avionics control systems. ARA is looking for a Senior Systems Engineer to support the development of various project types. The qualified candidate will be working with a multi-disciplinary team in a fast-paced development environment to integrate, deploy, and support complex software and hardware-based systems.
What you'll do as a Senior Systems Engineer 1 Tasks may include identifying, documenting, and tracking requirements; performing requirements analysis; task planning; performing software/system integration, regression, verification, and validation testing. You will help navigate the design team through the design cycle and own overall technical risk for the product(s). The position may require business travel to project locations in support of demonstrations, software installation, system testing and training events.
