The Simulation Scenario Frameworks team at Zoox is looking for a full-stack engineer to enable and extend authoring of challenging real-world driving scenariosIn this role, you will:Develop autonomous driving simulation scenario tools to author, inspect, and evaluate the performance of autonomous driving software.Extend a web-based front-end for 3D graphical definition of detailed autonomous driving simulation scenarios.Extend a web back-end to interact with simulation and autonomous driving software.Qualifications8+ years of industry experience, with proficiency in TypeScript and PythonExperience developing web user interfaces (UI / UX)Excellent communication skillsA BS in Computer Science or related fieldBonus QualificationsExperience in C++ developmentExperience with modern web development frameworks such as Vue, Three.js , ReactExperience with simulation, game development, robotics or autonomous vehiclesCompensationThere are three major components to compensation for this position: salary, Amazon Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), and Zoox Stock Appreciation Rights. The salary will range from $203,000 - $293,000. A sign-on bonus may be part of a compensation package. Compensation will vary based on geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
