The Senior .NET Application Developer plays a critical role in developing and maintaining software applications; their expertise is essential for delivering robust, efficient, and secure solutions.
They design and develop high-quality, scalable, and maintainable software applications using the .NET framework and related technologies.
Can write clean, efficient, well-documented code in C# or VB.NET language.
Utilizes best practices for software development, including design patterns and coding standards, while adhering to Polar Semiconductor's software and development practices.
To ensure quality products, a senior.net application developer will conduct unit testing, integration testing, and system testing to ensure the reliability and functionality of the application.
They will identify and fix software defects and performance bottlenecks.
They will deploy applications to production environments and manage the deployment process.
After deployment, the senior .NET developer will monitor and maintain applications, ensuring they operate smoothly and are updated as needed.
They will create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, user guides, and code comments.
This position will intensely focus on application maintenance as we change our data structures to ensure data integrity and quality data storage and delivery.
This position requires occasional off-hours availability to assist with software issues communicated via our 24x7 support team.
Education and Work Experience Requirements:
This position typically requires a bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field with 3+ years of experience is required.
As an alternative, an associate degree in a related field combined with 5+ years of relevant experience is applicable.
Preferred Qualifications
This position requires extensive knowledge of object-oriented design and programming utilizing C# and Vb.net.
The applicant should have a firm grasp on developing user interfaces using WinForms and Windows Presentation Foundation.
They should be comfortable navigating the Visual Studio 2017, 2019, or 2022 IDE and utilizing source control (Azure DevOps).
An applicant should understand and have experience in database technologies such as T-SQL, CRUD transactions, stored procedures, and views.
They should also have consumed, designed, and implemented RESTful and SOAP web services utilizing Windows Communication Foundation.
Experience with SSRS reporting and Power BI would be a plus.
Self-starter willing to work independently and cooperatively on tasks, projects, and bug fixing.
Communicate efficiently and effectively on the progression of assignments, projects, and active application issues.
