Senior Staff Accountant

City Wide Facility Solutions is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Staff Accountant to join our team. As a leading management company in the building maintenance industry, we provide solutions to a wide range of facility issues for our clients. This position will play a critical role in maintaining our financial information, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
As a Senior Staff Accountant, you will be responsible for a variety of accounting functions, including preparing financial statements, reconciling accounts, managing accounts payable and receivable, and assisting with budgeting and forecasting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities: Prepare and analyze financial statements Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable Contract management and independent contractor payables Perform bank reconciliations Assist with budgeting and forecasting Process payroll and payroll tax filings Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes Assist with the annual third-party audit Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations Provide support to the accounting team as needed Requirements Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting Strong understanding of GAAP Proficiency in accounting software (Microsoft Dynamics experience is a plus) and MS Office applications Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively Strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Benefits City Wide Facility Solutions of San Diego is locally owned with the strength of a national franchise behind it.
