Tripoint Solutions is seeking a Staff Accountant to join our team in Arlington, VA. You will work closely with our Controller to support the day-to-day accounting functions. The ideal candidate will bring at least 5 years of experience working with Deltek CostPoint/T&E and a passion for excellence in accounting practices to ensure our continued success.
Location: Hybrid Remote
The successful candidate will be accountable to: Recording and processing of accounts payable and cash receipts related to customer billing
Ensuring all invoices and employee reimbursements are on-time and in accordance with policies, expense codes, and cost centers
Maintaining accurate and compliant records
General financial reports analysis
Reconciling balance sheets and resolving discrepancies
Supporting audits request and executing corrective action plans
Processing payroll including bi-weekly timesheets, setting up new users in Deltek Time & Expense, and assigning charge codes
Working with employees and management to make adjustments and ensure Total Time Accounting compliance
Delivering exceptional service for our employees, customers and subcontractors
Collaborating with the HR team on fringe benefits, garnishments, tax withholdings, and other areas impacting payroll
Supporting the Controller and CEO with preparing and reviewing financial statement reports, tax schedules, budgets, and monthly/year-end close-out procedures using CostPoint
Drafting internal and external communication
Experience, Education & Training: Bachelor's degree preferably in Accounting, Finance, or related field 5+ years of Experience with Deltek Costpoint and Deltek Time & Expense Demonstrated understanding of accounting principles and related legislation, including Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), in support of the government contracting services industry Exceptional analytical, time management, and problem-solving skills Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication Advanced knowledge of Excel Ability to pass credit and background checks About Tripoint Solutions We are technology innovators, partnered with state-of-the-art providers, such as AWS, ServiceNow, and UiPath, to drive digital transformation in the federal space.
