LCRA is looking for a Senior Systems Administrator for our physical security team. Join us as we expand our team and systems to meet new security challenges! Your expertise will support systems in use around the clock, ensuring they are available and secure. This position will primarily support a broad portfolio of public safety and physical security systems. Responsibilities include supporting and managing enterprise-class hardware and software with an emphasis on vulnerability mitigation, asset lifecycle management, disaster recovery planning, and coordination with network and telecommunication architects. You will work closely with security system technicians, cybersecurity staff, system architects and engineers, vendors, and other internal technology teams.You will be trusted to:- Provide oversight and management of specialized security technology.- Participate in vendor evaluations and technology implementation projects.- Coordinate system architecture with digital services, telecommunications, and cybersecurity staff. Maintain accurate documentation of system architecture and design.- Work with other groups to coordinate and review firewall rules, IP address assignments, and compliance activities.- Maintain awareness of cybersecurity threats and takes action to ensure proper mitigations are implemented.- Provide advanced technical support and resolve system problems.- Develop and review disaster recovery plans and procedures.
