Senior Security Engineer - Cloud & Application Security

Our client is seeking a seasoned Senior Security Engineer to safeguard cloud infrastructure, optimize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) security practices, secure containerized environments, and ensure robust application security. Responsibilities include cross-functional collaboration, multi-cloud and infrastructure security, container security, application security leadership, and continuous learning and improvement. We are seeking a Senior Security Engineer with a proven track record in security innovation and a passion for protecting technology environments.

Required Technology And Skills

Experience in application security practices and tools, including static/dynamic analysis and familiarity with OWASP standards.
Proficiency in cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure)
Expertise in container orchestration tools (Kubernetes, Docker), and Infrastructure as Code - Terraform, Ansible
Experience hands-on experience securing Infrastructure as Code, Application Security, and Policy as Code (PaC) using coding languages such as Go, JavaScript, Python, or YAML
2+ years of experience automating and scaling CIS benchmarks and working in NIST CSF certified environments and/or SOC Type II
Experience writing business friendly and technical documentation.

Qualifications And Experience

Top of FormBottom of FormBS, BA or advanced degree in CS, Information Security or related field
7+ years experience in Information Security within cloud-native or SaaS technology
Certifications:
Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP),
or Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP)

Compensation:

The target base salary will range from $150,000-$1750,000 + 20% Bonus based on experience.
