Full health & welfare benefits, 401(k), PTO What You Will Do: The Senior Quality Technician ensures that products or services meet specified standards and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities Include: · Conduct inspections and tests of materials, components, and finished products to identify defects and ensure compliance with specifications. · Analyze quality data to identify trends, defects, root causes, and improvement areas. · Maintain detailed records of inspections, tests, and quality audits and ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation. · Collaborate with production and engineering teams to identify and implement process improvements that enhance product quality and efficiency. · Ensure that products and processes comply with industry standards, regulations, and customer requirements. · Provide training and support to staff on quality control procedures and best practices. · Investigate and resolve quality issues, implement corrective actions, and follow up to ensure effectiveness. · Evaluate and monitor the quality performance of suppliers and vendors. · Handle customer complaints and feedback on product quality and work to resolve issues satisfactorily. · Demonstrates strong leadership qualities, is a role model for the QA team, and exceeds API Heat Transfer's essential performance standards by adhering to its employee guidelines. · Coordinates the work of the QA department to meet customer requirements. · Inform the QA Manager of employee performance opportunities or other attention-related topics. · Attend the daily shift meeting and all weekly meetings that require QA representation, such as, but not limited to, daily huddles, inventory, and material holds. · Helps develop and ensure a pleasant and productive work environment. · Ensures department tasks are done accurately, safely, and timely. · Assists in onboarding new, temporary, or seasonal employees. · Monitors lab supply levels and reports to the QA Manager. What You Bring: · Bachelor's degree or equivalent quality department work experience · 5+ years of experience in QA · Extensive knowledge of QA methodologies and processes · Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Check out the COOL things we've been up to!
