Job Details:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in our fast-paced, growing legal firm. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the financial health of our organization. You will be tasked with preparing financial statements, managing budget forecasts, overseeing tax obligations, and ensuring our financial operations align with legal standards. Your expertise in treasury, property, and accounting will be crucial to this role.

Responsibilities:
1. Oversee all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, and Revenue Recognition.
2. Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements.
3. Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting.
4. Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
5. Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
6. Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances.
7. Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
8. Liaise with our financial management team, accountants, and other staff to ensure the accuracy of all financial data.
9. Manage the company's financial accounting, monitoring, and reporting systems.
10. Liaise with auditors to ensure annual audits are carried out smoothly.

Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
2. A minimum of 3 years of experience in a senior accounting role.
3. Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations.
4. High attention to detail and accuracy.
