WHAT YOU'LL DO + This role focuses primarily on assigned projects, from initiation through planning to execution to completion.
+ Support the development of capital program scope by working with quality, manufacturing, engineering, and stakeholders to ensure that projects are completed on time, on budget, with-in scope, and to the highest quality standards.
+ Responsible for developing several scope options to evaluate and choose the best business case for the organization by working with multiple area finance teams.
+ Utilize engineering knowledge to support equipment design by properly preparing requests for proposal documentation, updating equipment specifications, and having detailed equipment design conversations with equipment suppliers.
+ Ability to manage several projects at the same time with multiple timelines and maintain adherence to internal process timelines.
You'll be accountable for meeting our compliance standards including FDA , OSHA and Abbott policies and procedures.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOU'LL BRING Required + Bachelor's degree in engineering.
+ 5+ years of significant engineering and/or operational experience.
+ Approximately 2 years' experience in engineering/controls role or internship or advanced education to achieve level of skill.
+ Mechanical, chemical, and industrial engineering experience. Process piping and wastewater experience.
Preferred + Computer Science, Controls Engineering or Electrical Engineering degrees preferred
+ PMP Certification
+ Electrical Power Distribution

The base pay for this position is $72,700.00 – $145,300.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
