Senior Program Manager Job Brief Develops, implements, manages, and analyzes customer programs related to energy efficiency, demand response, electric vehicles, and/or beneficial electrification. In addition, manages third-party program stakeholders, coordinates program contracts and budgets, serves on internal and industry organization teams, tackles special projects, and researches new energy-related technologies and program opportunities. The successful and growing customer programs require a complete understanding of sustainability issues with emphasis on energy efficient technologies and applications, demand management strategies, greenhouse gas and carbon reduction measures, and a proficiency in marketing and communication strategies.
Job Responsibilities Develops and executes strategic plan for assigned customer programs to achieve SRP corporate and departmental goals. Development activities include: Assimilates market analysis, customer opinion and secondary data to monitor technology advancement and identify customer program opportunities. Audiences targeted include residential, commercial and industrial customers, as well as select segments within these market sectors, such as limited-income and new customers. Designs customer-centric programs that address market adoption hurdles through engaging customer communications, strong trade ally training and management, and properly applied incentives. Develops short and long-term market adoption projections, and forecasts related program participation, energy, environmental, and cost impacts. Identifies, selects and manages third-party program implementation contractor(s) to provide the expertise, skills and manpower necessary to successfully deploy and scale the program. Works with internal marketing and advertising departments to develop content, frequency and placement of all program communications including; key message, salient facts, communication barriers, competition, tone and disclaimers. Coordinates development of program collateral, applications and contracts, and updates to the external program website to ensure accurate information is provided to the public. Monitors program activities to understand evolving industry trends, codes and standards advancements, customer satisfaction, trade ally engagement, and program performance. Evaluates and reports program effectiveness via monthly reports to executive management. In addition, produces and gives presentations about the program to external organizations, customer groups or industry meetings. Seeks opportunities to continuously improve the program participation, impacts, and customer engagement. Additionally: Conducts analysis within the electric utility industry to assess opportunities in developing customer programs and value added services. Develops proficiency in reporting, analyzing and maintaining internal and external program databases related to assigned programs. Serves as a subject matter expert in areas related to assigned programs, and assumes a leadership role when assigned to SRP cross-functional teams. Establishes goals and associated action items; develops agendas and facilitates meetings; encourages and facilitates a team approach to achieving desired outcomes. Education Completion of a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution that prepares the employee for the assignment.
Experience Promotion to Level 2 requires a minimum of two years experience at Level 1; demonstrated capability to perform advanced and more difficult work as determined by the supervisor. Promotion to Senior Level requires a minimum of three years experience at Level 2; is fully competent in all aspects of functional area of assignment and as such would be recognized as a specialist in area of assignment and may have periodic or occasional lead responsibilities.

Project work will require project planning and coordination with clients and vendors, overall project management and meeting client expectations.
