Responsibilities
• Lead day-to-day production accounting across a portfolio of projects including non-fiction series, news specials, and documentary films• Collaborate with production teams on workflows and accounting procedures• Coordinate onboarding and accounting startup materials for each project• Liaise with finance to track production costs• Provide account coding for processing invoices, payroll, and credit card statements• Facilitate production cash advances and credit card management• Assist in preparing non-purchase order invoices• Work closely with operations on 3rd party payroll services payments• Ad-Hoc financial accounting reporting for shows/projects• Collaborate on special projects to improve workflows and best practices
Requirements
• 3-6 years of production accounting experience• Expertise working in PSL, Movie Magic Budgeting, Concur, SAP, and other production finance systems• Solid understanding of domestic and foreign tax forms• Experience processing payroll for union and non-union productions• Experience preparing financial reporting and analysis• Experience handling a portfolio of projects• Excellent interpersonal skills• Calm under pressure• Handles confidential information with discretion• Proficient in MS Office
