Join us on our journey to become a global digital payments leader.The Purpose:We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to own and build out this core offering for our business. You will join a team of highly skilled Product Managers delivering solutions that allow people to pay the way they want, any time and everywhere. You will be responsible forensuring that we focus our time and energy on activities that have the highest chance of producing the team's target outcomes, while also investing appropriately on platform and reliability work to continuously improve. The balance of feature/functionality versus platformwork is done in partnership with an Engineering Manager counterpart. We empower passionate problem-solvers to collaborate, innovate and do their best work.What you'll do:Lead effective product discovery activities with your team- Ensure that ongoing discovery activities lead to impactful outcomes and/or valuable learnings that determine what we should build.Articulate strategy that aligns with the vision of your domain- Set the product strategy (the activities necessary to deliver the product vision), clearly articulate what your product should do for customers, what the customer experience should be, and appropriate time horizon.Prioritise effectively- Lay out the highest-impact problems, weighing trade-offs and leveraging an appropriate method for sizing potential impact. Define the most efficient path towards achieving those outcomes (MVP, experimentation, launch strategy/go-to-market, de-risking, etc.).Measure success and understand data- Clearly describe the measurable outcomes your team seeks to achieve as solutions to the prioritised problems.Support delivery in partnership with the Engineering Manager and your team- Set forth and document clear "requirements" for the delivery of solutions, providing the necessary context ("what" & "why") for your team on the problems they are solving, connecting it to their strategy, and linking how the solutions will impact key metrics.Communicate across the organisation and with external stakeholders- Closely align with relevant stakeholders within and outside the organisation, your engineering counterpart and domain leadership. Ensure stakeholders are aware of timelines and the rationale behind them, keeping deadline commitments and working through ongoing delivery constraints with agility.What you will have:Hands on Product Manager with results oriented track record, having worked closely with engineering.Deep domain experience and a passion for the strategic, business & operational aspects of payments.Launched and scaled a product both from 0 to 1 and 1 to a million, experience seeing projects through from beginning to end and owning the entire process.Exceptional people skills and the ability to develop strong working relationships at all levels of management, both inside and outside of PPRO.Communication skills with demonstrated ability to navigate a complex organisation, rally people around an exciting vision, and generate buy-in for ideas and plans.Hands-on contribution and technical depth to mentor others and build credibility.What's in it for you?:Hybrid working- We offer flexible working, so you can strike the right balance between office and home working.
