Senior Polymer Scientist-Tpo R&D

Our client is a top-tier manufacturer of high-quality building materials. They're seeking a full-time Sr. R&D TPO Scientist based in Carlisle, PA, offering relocation assistance if needed.

This role involves working in the

TPO

Research

and Innovation team to develop cutting-edge technologies for

TPO

roof ing products. This scientist will collaborate with various partners to enhance current products and shape future ones for sustainability.

Responsibilities:
Lead

research

on new and existing

TPO

products and introduce new technologies.
Manage multiple innovation projects crucial for expanding the

TPO

roof ing line.
Develop and oversee project schedules from concept to launch.
Enhance

TPO

technologies to create better products and reduce costs.
Coordinate with different departments to prioritize projects and set future directions.
Use a mix of external resources, internal knowledge, and lab experiments to find new

TPO

technologies.
Drive innovation by applying the latest techniques to meet project goals.
Experience with

plastic

product development

and processing methods like

extrusion

is a plus
Strong understanding of

polymer

science and engineering principles is essential.

Requirements:
PhD in

Polymer

Science, Chemistry, or Material Science.
Minimum 7 years of industry experience.
At least 5 years of experience in developing

TPO

or

Polyolefin

products.
Proficiency in material and

chemical

analysis techniques preferred
