As a Senior Observability Analyst at WHOOP, you will play a crucial role in building the platform that ensures our member-facing physiological algorithms are working properly across a diverse and evolving memberbase and that key stakeholders have timely access to the data that supports that.RESPONSIBILITIES:Develop and deploy robust monitoring and observability tools to track offline and production ML model performance Enable internal stakeholders to evaluate data quality metrics, identify anomalies, and implement measures to address issuesWork closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and use cases; collaborate on designing solutionsPartner closely with cross-functional partners to support new algorithm roll outs and ensure in real time that real world performance matches anticipated performance Keep abreast of emerging technologies, best practices, and trends in data observability, and incorporate relevant innovations into our data engineering processesReports to the Director of ML PlatformQUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related fieldStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets and draw actionable insightsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teamsExperience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker, or similarExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detailExperience with AWS cloud platformKnowledge of machine learning techniques and methodologies is a plusUnderstanding of human physiology is a plusThis role is based in the WHOOP office located in Boston, MA.
