Responsibilities
• Coordinate the planning, delivery, and reporting of a grant funded nutrition education program.• Plan and manage projects of various scales.• Directly supervise staff.• Plan and present lessons on nutrition and health promotion to a wide variety of target audiences.• Provide supervision and oversight for Nutrition Educators and/or Community Health Workers.• Participate and assist in the planning of team/regional/SNAP-Ed all-staff trainings.
Requirements
• Bachelor of Science in Nutritional Science/Dietetics or related field, or 10 years of relevant experience.• Two years of experience providing nutrition and physical activity education in diverse community settings.• Experience providing supervision and leadership to a team.• Excellent communication, public speaking, interpersonal, and organizational skills.• Proficiency in Office365, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.• Bilingual language skills (English and Spanish/Creole/Bengali) is a plus.• Valid driver's license and personal vehicle.• Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends.
