Senior Mechanical Estimator

One of the largest full service mechanical contractors in the nation, located in the Washington, D.C. area is seeking a top-notch professional for the role of SENIOR ESTIMATOR . The Senior Estimator will work closely with the Chief Estimator to insure the continued growth and financial success of this outstanding company.
The company specializes in Large Commercial Plumbing/HVAC projects like office buildings, tenant fit-outs, data centers, labs, hospitals, government buildings, etc. This Senior Estimator will work in the New Construction division that mainly performs "plan & spec" and "design build/assist" bidding. QUALIFICATIONS: Seven (7) PLUS years Mechanical estimating experience with HVAC and plumbing projects. Plan & spec and design/build estimating experience. Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft family of products (Word, Excel, etc.) Working knowledge of Quote Express, Quick Pen, Estimation or similar estimating software. A multi-tasker who can handle the pressure of multiple bidding scenarios at one time. Able to work independently and in a team environment. Attention to detail is a MUST.
