BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering. Other engineering degrees are also considered. 8+ years of hands-on mechanical design experience with increasing design/project responsibility. 3+ years of experience designing complex automated systems as part of a multi-disciplined team. Proficiency with ME CAD tools (Solidworks preferred). Strong written and verbal communication skills. High attention to detail. Exceptional organizational skills. Ability to lead multi-disciplinary technical teams. Ability to work closely with and maintain healthy relationships through fast-paced, high-pressure project cycles with clients and team members. Up to 20% of travel may be required between locations. Must possess a valid U.S. Driver's License. Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship. Background checks are required. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Knowledge about large gantry systems or manufacturing is preferred Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T Good understanding of basic mechanics and machine design. Experienced in either warehousing or the fulfillment center industry. Systems architecture experience or the ability to think at a systems level. Skilled at mentoring other engineers. Skills and knowledge in various disciplines such as controls engineering, system integration, robotics and/or project management.
