Senior Mechanical Engineer

A Senior Engineer is capable of leading/driving design decisions, overseeing project staff, and is capable of being the main point of contact for a project.

Responsible for high quality, efficient HVAC and plumbing systems design, documentation, and construction administration for projects.

Utilize the following software to complete tasks accurately and on time: Outlook, Excel, BlueBeam, AutoCad, Revit, Word, COMcheck, Trane Trace700, and LiquidPlanner.

Responsibilities Include:

Mentor younger staff to help them develop on projects.
Communicate effectively with staff and other design professionals.
Assist and lead owner in making informed system selection decisions.
Set a standard of responsive construction administration services.
Meet project deadlines - this may require overtime hours.
Utilize company software to complete tasks and manage staff accurately, effective, and on time.
Perform project quality assurance checks.
Manage multiple priorities, both internal and external.
Develop accurate, code-compliant, coordinated, and efficient designs.
Perform facility assessments and site verifications.
Positive contribution to EP.

Requirements

Minimum:
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar from an ABET Accredited Program.
6+ Years relevant mechanical design experience and project management.
Active Professional Engineer in the state of Minnesota.
