Responsibilities
• Provide direction and technical guidance to discipline work group• Assist in the building of an inclusive team environment• Establish and maintain work plans• Devise innovative approaches to problem-solving• Contribute to cost-effective design of plumbing and fire protection systems• Identify major technical uncertainties and present solution options• Serve as an advisor for engineering problems• Interface and coordinate with other engineering disciplines and the client• Perform other related work as assigned
Requirements
• Experience in Piping and Instrument Diagram (P&ID) development• Extensive knowledge of mechanical engineering work processes• Excellent oral and written communication skills• Must be able to travel to project jobsites• Possess active security clearance or ability to obtain one• Knowledge of Bechtel Corporate guides and standards• Experience working on DOD government projects• Experience using SpecsIntact for tailoring Unified Facilities Guide Specifications• Experience with International Plumbing Code, ASME B31, and/or NFPA codes• Experience in working with procedures meeting quality assurance programs• U.S. Professional Engineering License in Mechanical, Nuclear, or Chemical Engineering• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Nuclear Engineering, or Chemical Engineering
