Summary of Position:
The role of the Senior Innovation Manager is to help shape the culture and processes required for innovation to succeed at Premier Brands of America. Insight and an in-depth understanding of our business, planning and managing change, excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills are fundamental blocks of this role. This role sits at the intersection of new product development, brand marketing, consumer research, and project management. The Senior Innovation Manager can solve problems and put the pieces together to create something new, has an entrepreneurial drive, analytical and creative skills, discipline, and mental toughness. We are looking for a dynamic individual with an entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for winning who desires to make a direct impact on an organization without multiple layers of bureaucracy. This hybrid position is based in White Plains, N.Y. (remote Mondays & Fridays).
Duties and Responsibilities:
Lead the NPD/ Innovation function within the Branded Marketing team, taking new product ideas through the corporate Stage Gate process
Collaborate with the Brand Marketing Team to identify consumer white space and ideate new product ideas & modifications for the branded portfolio.
Create New Item Briefs.
Collaborate with Project Management and Regulatory to map out and improve timelines and optimize product formulas and packaging – as well as facilitate clinical studies and consumer perception tests.
Communicate with vendors to initiate projects, request samples, and provide design feedback and modification requests.
Create and manage project timelines to capture key deliverables and deadlines.
Assist Sales with NPD related customer requests, coordinating timelines, cost, volume, pricing and sell sheets.
Work closely with the Art department to issue preliminary product copy, mockup requests and design direction.
Manage market research projects to identify and filter potential new products (e.g., category analysis, competitive product review, consumer reviews, new product concept tests, A&U studies).
Develop marketing collateral such as new product sell sheets and sell in presentations.
Manage project status updates on the Master New Product Development spreadsheet.
Create and maintain detailed spec sheets for each SKU in development.
Present status updates to senior management on a quarterly basis, with smaller monthly updates.
Performs other related duties as assigned.

Pay: $125,000.00 - $145,000.00 per year
