We are seeking an experienced Senior Manufacturing Technician who will play a pivotal role in executing manufacturing and quality control tasks according to our established Flow Cell procedures. This is an incredible opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a difference and looking to further their career in the biotech industry. We are looking for candidates with a solid background in consumable manufacturing. Experience with basic laboratory equipment (pipettes, balances, etc) a must. This role will report to the Supervisor, Chemistry, Flow Cell and Biomolecule MFG Operations and will be a San Diego role.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Execute manufacturing and quality tasks according to Standard Operating Procedures, Work Instructions, and/or Batch Records:
Operate and maintain process equipment (liquid handlers, ovens, vacuum pumps, centrifuges, etc…)
Formulate reagents and buffers
Assemble and package finished goods
Collect, analyze and interpret quality data; respond and escalate issues to supervisor and/or engineering team as needed
Maintain a correct inventory of materials through cycle counts, ordering and receipt of materials
Assist in creation and execution of product work orders to inventory
Perform troubleshooting on the manufacturing process as required
Maintain a clean and safe work area; assist in driving 6S activities
Support cross-functional teams/projects related to Scale-up, New Product Introduction, Continuous Improvement, Product Transfer, Product Sustaining, Product Development, CAPA activities, Validation studies, etc
Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in relevant science (chemistry, biochemistry, biology) and 2 years of relevant experience in consumable manufacturing; an equivalent combination of experience and education may be considered
Detail-oriented, organized and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Experience with reviewing and writing SOPs and Batch Records
Experience with ERP and MRP systems (NetSuite, OpsCenter)
Experience in using Microsoft Office
Experience with operating (preferred) and troubleshooting liquid handlers (highly desirable)
Experience training and/or coordinating MFG teams (highly desirable)
Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift 15 pounds

Base Compensation Pay Range: $70,000 - $85,000
In addition to base compensation noted above, you will be eligible for stock options, discretionary annual bonus, no cost health insurance plans, 401k with company match, and flexible paid time off.
