The position will require occasional travel to the Phoenix corporate offices and/or site locations. This position may be performed anywhere in the U.S. except California, Connecticut, Illinois, Kansas, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Hampshire, New York, North Carolina, Oklahoma and South Carolina. Additional states may be excluded from remote work based on business factors. Should the positions shift to in-office work in the future, the company will offer relocation benefits at that time should the position meet the established eligibility for these benefits.DescriptionThe Senior Manager of Talent Acquisition at Freeport-McMoRan plays a pivotal role in shaping the company's workforce by overseeing the comprehensive talent acquisition strategy for North America. This strategic leadership position involves managing the end-to-end recruitment process, leading a team of professionals, and directing the College Talent Acquisition area, which focuses on interns and new graduates. The incumbent will be instrumental in attracting top talent, fostering inclusion and diversity within talent acquisition practices, and enhancing the recruitment brand for prospective candidates. Additionally, this role holds responsibility for driving innovation, overseeing, and enhancing technology, and implementing data-driven decision-making practices within the Talent Acquisition function.Strategic Leadership:Develop and execute a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy for North America, aligning with the company's overall business objectives. Lead and mentor a team of talent acquisition professionals, fostering a collaborative and results-driven culture that aligns with the sites needs and timelines. College Talent Acquisition:Direct the College Talent Acquisition area, overseeing the recruitment of interns and new graduates. Lead and mentor a team of college talent acquisition professionals. Develop and implement strategies to attract top talent from universities and colleges, establishing a robust pipeline for future hiring needs. Recruitment and Sourcing:Drive the end-to-end recruitment process, ensuring a seamless and positive candidate experience. Implement innovative sourcing strategies to identify and attract diverse talent in a competitive market. Oversee and enhance technology, primarily within Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), to improve candidate and hiring manager experience and sourcing efficiency. Focus on driving initiatives that attract future talent through strategic external relationships to promote Freeport-McMoRan and attract employees. Description (Continued)Recruitment Branding:Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to enhance the company's recruiting brand and to promote compelling employment opportunities with the company. Utilize technology to support employer recruiting initiatives. Data-Driven Decision Making:Utilize analytics and key performance indicators to measure the effectiveness of talent acquisition initiatives and make data-driven decisions. Inclusion and Diversity:Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws and regulations. Champion diversity and inclusion initiatives within the talent acquisition process. Relationship Management:Build strong partnerships with key stakeholders to understand their talent acquisition needs Perform other duties as requested. Minimum Requirements:Bachelor's degree in business or HR-related discipline and ten (10) years' experience in Talent Acquisition or HR related field including some management experience OR Associates degree and twelve (12) years' experience in Talent Acquisition or HR related field including some management experience OR High School diploma or GED and fourteen (14) years' experience in Talent Acquisition or HR related field including some management experience Preferred Qualifications:Seven (7) years' experience in Talent Acquisition within a mining company or industrial facility Strong background utilizing SuccessFactors and other Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) to drive operational efficiency and strategic decision-making Possesses essential Excel skills for data organization, analysis, and presentation Possesses competent PowerPoint skills to present to various areas of the organization including leadership Proven high-performer in dynamic environments, adept at managing multiple high-priority and confidential tasks with unwavering focus and composure Adept at fostering the growth and development of team members through comprehensive training initiatives A highly motivated and resourceful individual who can travel to represent the company at various Talent Acquisition events and contribute to a wide range of talent acquisition activities Presentation/public speaking skills and experience Criteria/ConditionsPersonal protective equipment is required when performing work in a mine, outdoor, manufacturing or plant environment, including hard hat, hearing protection, safety glasses, safety footwear, and as needed, respirator, rubber steel-toe boots, protective clothing, gloves and any other protective equipment as required. This range reflects base salary only and does not include bonus payments, benefits or retirement contributions. Actual base pay is determined by experience, qualifications, skills and other job-related factors. This role is eligible for additional incentive compensation considerations based on company and individual performance. Additionally, this position is currently eligible for annual long-term incentive consideration. Long-term incentives are contingent upon authorized approval under the terms and conditions of the Company's plan and award agreements. More details will be shared during the hiring process.
