This role will report to the Senior Director, Corporate Compensation and have a broad range of responsibilities which includes delivering on the company's equity strategy, with an emphasis on overseeing the end-to-end equity and deferred compensation administration and servicing processes and maximizing the value from our third party vendors, in addition to consistent execution of business as usual deliverables.  This role involves people leadership responsibilities for two equity administration managers.The Senior Manager, Global Equity Administration will be responsible for all servicing and operational aspects of BNY Mellon deferred incentives and deferred compensation.In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: Manage the team responsible for ongoing administration of all stock plan (deferred incentive award) processes, including new awards, dividend payments, restricted stock vesting, deferred cash awards as well as lead role managing the non-qualified deferred compensation planManage and oversee all aspects of the equity administration team.Identify and recommend areas for improved global consistency and efficiencyOperate with a data-driven approach to gather, analyze, and synthesize data to influence decision making and improve processesSeek and incorporate external thinking/perspectives into the function.Support Executive Compensation and Corporate Secretary with Section 16 reporting by timely providing award and transaction details.Oversees analyses on program and process effectiveness, reporting to functional leaders and providing insights or recommendations. Manages activities against established regulatory standards. Lead relevant control and compliance processes.Manage vendor relationships including ongoing monitoring, ensuring compliance of services and contractual obligations. Vendors include stock plan administrator/brokerage, deferred cash provider and deferred compensation plan administrator and tax services.Recruits, directs, motivates and develops staff, maximizing their individual contribution, their professional growth and their ability to function effectively with their colleagues as a team. Provides feedback at the most critical times. To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following: A minimum of five years of operations/servicing experience in stock administration or related positionProven leadership experience with demonstrated ability to lead people, teams and projects.  Managing diverse teams and developing talent.Ability to manage competing priorities successfullyAbility to identify process improvements needed to improve internal operations and efficiencyStrong oral and written communications skills coupled with excellent interpersonal abilityExcellent problem solving and highly developed critical thinking skillsHigh attention to detail and excellence in executionAdaptable to new or changing circumstances, professional demeanour, sensitive to client needs, self-motivated, creative, and innovative.At BNY Mellon, our inclusive culture speaks for itself.
