You'll learn more about this during the recruitment process.JOB SUMMARY:The Senior Manager, Marketing - Global Brand Strategy and Planning plays a key role in helping lead Universal Destinations and Experiences (UDX) Marketing & Sales (M&S) division in several key initiatives related to Global Brand Strategy and Strategic Planning alongside the Senior Director of Global Strategic Planning and Brand Strategy. Requires strong project management, communications, marketing/branding, teaming, cross-functional collaboration, strategic-thinking, and analytics skills.MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:GLOBAL BRAND STRATEGYWork alongside Senior Director, Brand Strategy and other senior executives to define and manage brand strategy for UDX brands globally, including existing and new brands/products.Leverage consumer insights, competitive analysis, IP studies, and other information to define the UDX value proposition, brand positioning, and brand story for existing and new brands/products.Oversee brand KPIs and performance measurement; communicate, progress and help develop action plans for improvement.Support development of Brand Strategy briefs, to inform key product, creative, brand identity, and marketing execution support.Support additional brand related initiatives (e.g., Senior Leader requests, NBCU initiatives)BRAND MANAGEMENTPartner with other branding leaders/teams, including Brand Creative Strategy, Brand Assurance, New Ventures, Destination Marketing, Integrated Media and Communications, and Digital Teams to inform broader marketing work and advise execution of brand strategyProject manage key brand management timelines and deliverablesSupport global teams in learning and applying branding best practicesGuide departments on translating and implementing global UDX brand strategySTRATEGIC PLANNINGSupport Senior Director, Global Strategic Planning in select UDX strategic planning projects to align goals, strategic priorities, resourcing, and tactical plans for key functions.Help expand strategic planning capabilities through UDX, through situation assessments, workshops, project management, and collaboration with other UDX senior leaders.Work with Director to continuously improve strategic planning process based on evolving UPR and M&S needs and best practices.Develop and deliver presentations to senior executives; must possess executive presence when communicating.Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.Performs other duties as assigned.EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree required – Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Business, Economics, Finance, Business, Mathematics, Industrial Engineering, Psychology, Political Science, Business Communications, or related field.EXPERIENCE: 7+ years of Branding, Brand Management, Brand Strategy, Marketing, Strategic Planning, Project Management, Consumer Insights, Strategy, Consulting, or related experience; additional experience in the following:Competitive and market analysis or equivalent combination of education and experience.Strategy and brand experience with long-standing brands as well as new productsPresentations and discussions with Senior LeadershipBusiness case developmentStorytelling and visualization of assessmentsTakes initiative, self-starter tendencies.Cross-functional communication, consensus-building, team-oriented, diplomacy, conflict managementPersuasive communication abilities, executive presenceProblem-solvingStrong written and oral communicationWillingness to adapt.; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Your talent, skills and experience will be rewarded with a competitive compensation package.Universal Orlando Resort.Here you can.Universal Orlando is an equal opportunity employer.
