Find your place in technology on #TeamAmexThe Global Loyalty & Benefits organization is looking for a talentedSenior Product Manager– Digital Product Management to help drivethetransformation of our APIs.??As the Senior Product Manager, you will collaborate with business and technology partners to shape the product strategy and roadmap.?The Senior Product Manager willleada team of product owners who willberesponsible forenhancingand modernizingour loyalty APIsandwill consult with business and channel partners to discover use cases and API requirements. A key part of this role will be to build and foster a culture of agility and product ownership in close partnership with technology and business teams.The Global Loyalty & Benefits Platform is part of the larger Enterprise PlatformsTechnology unitwhere product and engineering resources have been organizationally brought together to improve speed to market and further unlock value across core capabilities.Our team enables many of the key product features used by our Cardmembers every day; such as earning & redeeming their points, accessing lounges & receiving the benefits from elite hotel and airline guest status.?As an API domain, webuildhigh performing APIs that power the world's best loyalty & benefit experiences for our customers.Key Responsibilities:Communicating and building consensus across multiple teams to create product vision and solutionsConsulting with key business partners and stakeholders to articulate outcomes and expectations, tie initiatives to key metrics, and drive consensus around Minimum Viable Product (MVP) definitionsPartnering with execution teams to ensure delivery of consistently high-quality,timelyfeature launchesCoaching and mentoring team of product ownersWeighing initiatives against opportunity costs and feasibility to build product roadmaps Building and fostering a culture of agility and product ownership in close partnership with technology and business teamsFacilitating resolution of risks, issues, and changes tied to the product backlogDeveloping a robust understanding of loyalty andAPIdomain as well as competitive landscapeDeep engagement and consultation with various architects, products owners, and business teams to understand current and future needsFull participation in and support of agile practices and ceremoniesCommunicate and build consensus across multiple teams in creating solutions.Collaborate with other team members to define business requirements to meet the end users' needs Provide vision to the Agile development team and stakeholders throughout the project and create requirementsBe an active team member in mitigating impedimentsimpactingsuccessful team completion of Release/Sprint GoalsPlease note, salary increases in case of a lateral move are provided only on an exception basis and in line with compensation guidelinesMinimum Qualifications:5+years of experience working on/with software development teamsBasic technical understanding of APIsA good balance of technical knowledge and business acumen with experience in driving innovation and business metrics with a customer-first mindsetAbility toestablishand maintain effective working relationships with all levels within the organization, including external partnersFamiliarity with agile and scrum software development methodologiesExcellent communication skills with ability to engage, influence, and inspire collaboration and alignmentExperience working with global teams across differenttimezonesProblem solving, project management and analytical skills; ability to prioritize and complete tasksHigh degree of personal organizationShows individual initiative, proactiveness and personal accountabilityBachelor's degree in related fieldrequired(or comparable experience). Master's degree preferred.Familiarity with Jira, Rally, Confluence, Gitlab/Github, Postman preferred?Salary Range: $90,000.00 to $165,000.00 annually + bonus + benefitsThe above represents the expected salary range for this job requisition.
