This Senior Manager of Consumer Insights is an embedded partner and consumer expert to Hasbro's Global Play teams, specifically our Board Games portfolio. They will proactively develop research agendas, prioritize problems, recommend solutions, and advocate for insight adoption with our business partners responsible for Board Games brand and franchise strategies, product innovation, and go-to-market planning.The anchoring motivation of the Senior Manager is a love for games and incessant curiosity about gamers, paired with courage to share consumer truths and insights with our partner teams to help them make amazing brands and games! If you have this passion as well as broad and seasoned capabilities across quantitative and qualitative research, secondary data analysis, project management, and strong consultative skills, we'd love to talk.Location:This is a hybrid position and will be a combination of remote and onsite in ourPawtucket, RI office.A day in the life of a Senior Manager of Consumer Insights:Be the voice of the consumer for a portfolio of 100+ game brands using insights to significantly influence strategies, development, forecasting, and marketing planning.Working with the Director, prioritize business questions and requests across audience, category, brand, product, creative, and commercial needs.Proactively develop and deliver insights agendas tied to strategic brand goals, development gates, and commercial sell-in.Lead research projects, including consumer foundational, audience segmentation, brand tracking, product/package testing, messaging/campaign testing, and ad hoc studies, using custom and standardized approaches.Adeptly and proactively provide brand and design teams with primary and secondary research, strategic consulting, and research presentations that scale up to senior levels.Model standards for quality and actionability in research plans and results, mentoring more junior analysts on the team.Leverage and help grow the Analytics, Insight & Measurement (AIM) eco-system of insights vendors, tools and data-sources that allow the team to gracefully scale skills and capacity to meet business partner needs.What you'll bring:10+ years in consumer insights or market research, preferably with several years of experience in children or fan products, entertainment, and/or gaming.Deep expertise in quantitative and qualitative insights methods, including segmentation, product testing, volumetrics, and creative asset testing.Best-in-class ability to tell compelling stories with a level of polish that can translate to GM-level presentations.Experience translating advanced analytics (choice modelling, segmentation, driver analysis, price elasticity) into insights with support from vendor partners and AIM Analytics peers.Strong problem diagnosis and definition skills.Excellent prioritization and project oversight capabilities.High-level analytical and critical thinking skills.Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 tools and navigating Power BI dashboards.BA/BS or equivalent experience required, preferably in social sciences, marketing/market research, or a related field.MBA, other advanced degree, or additional relevant education a plus.Hasbro's world-class brands and talented people are our greatest assets.
