We also ensure that you have plenty of opportunities to build your network, learn more about our organization through weekly lunch and learns led by leaders from across the company, and join us for several fun events.Job DescriptionAs The Senior Central Government Affairs Manager, you need to build a sustainable relationship and develop strategic platform with national healthcare authorities including government sector and agencies.You will explore the healthcare opportunities/policy shaping at national level to improve patient access to Biogen innovative medicines.Essential duties and responsibilities:Establish and maintain productive relationships with key national healthcare relevant stakeholders. The following stakeholders is required:National healthcare policy maker and relevant government agencies.National healthcare policy think tanks and academic institutions.3rd parties who can bridge the communication between national policy making influencers and hospital.Ability to lead cross-functional team to develop the national healthcare strategic plan & tactics for Biogen products and align the strategy with cross-functions to maximize patient access.In depth knowledge of national healthcare policies from central government agencies with the ability to collect, analyze and communicate the impact of any new polices.Provide healthcare policy analysis and insight to support business decisions effectively and work closely with Marketing/Sales, Medical Affairs and other functions to deliver good business result and patient benefit.Demonstrated ability to develop and manage projects and activities required to achieve business objectives.Coordinate cross-functions to cope with all kinds of crisis on healthcare and reimbursement areas and coordinate the relationship with government departmentsQualificationsBachelor degree or aboveA minimum of five (5) years of biotechnology or pharmaceutical experience in market access and central government affairs role (rare disease and specialty care product experience is preferred)Fluency in English (verbal and written) is requiredExcel & Power point in Microsoft Office softwareCore competencies required for this role:Highly compliance sensibilityCross-functional leadershipGood customer insight and engagement skillsLearning agilitySelf-motivated and be willing to work under high pressureAdditional InformationOur mission to find therapies for neurological and rare diseases is a unique focus within our industry and this shared purpose is what connects us as a team.
