Responsibilities
• Conduct inspections and prepare in-depth reports for insurance underwriting• Assess commercial property and casualty lines, including sprinkler systems and racking systems• Evaluate inland marine coverages such as builders risk and motor truck cargo• Analyze loss trends and provide appropriate corrective action• Conduct risk improvement services including training, consulting, and hazard analysis• Upload completed reports and documents through web-based systems• Travel within a reasonable territory for inspections• Assist insured in controlling losses through loss control services
Requirements
• Minimum 10 years' experience with a major carrier or as an independent contractor• Extensive understanding of commercial property and casualty lines• Knowledge in assessing sprinkler systems, commodities, and racking systems• Familiarity with inland marine coverages and specialty fields• Ability to analyze loss trends and identify root causes• Solid communication and writing skills• Exceptional organizational skills and time management• Preferred certifications: CSP, OHST, ALCM, and/or ARM• Capability to upload reports through web-based systems• Ability to travel within a 50-mile radius
