Responsibilities
• Identify, scope, and work on opportunities where Data Science can improve outcomes using structured and unstructured data• Lead the development of data science models• Provide technical advice, review codebase, and ensure best practices• Collaborate with business and technology teams to collect and analyze requirements• Research and develop innovative models and algorithms for the B2B segment
Requirements
• Eight years of research experience in science or engineering fields involving data analysis and mathematical modeling• Five years of professional/industry experience in building, implementing, testing, and deploying data science models• Five years of enterprise-scale projects in technology applications• Advanced programming skills in SQL and Python• Proficient with common data science Python packages• Ph. D. Degree in Data Science or similar disciplines would be useful• Experience with pricing, revenue management, forecasting, and optimization models• Proficient with tools for probabilistic methods and optimization solvers• Experience with big-data platforms and cloud service providers
