Savannah River Mission Completion (SRMC) is seeking a Senior Information Technology (IT) Business Analyst to be based in our Aiken, SC location on the Savannah River Site (SRS).
The Senior IT Business Analyst works closely with IT development and users/customers to analyze functional needs; supports turning the business users' functional needs into a requirements document; tracks all phases of development against requirements to ensure direction is correct; assist in development and execution of quality assurance testing to ensure delivery of a quality product.
Collects and analyzes information from customers to formulate the scope and objectives of the application or system Analyzes and evaluates user requirements by coordinating with the user to define the problem, data availability, report requirements and system design issues Defines systems requirements and prepares system design specifications to meet user requirements and satisfy interface problems Develops requirements documentation, including data and process flow diagrams Works with the Product Owners to understand the requirements and develop and manage the test scenarios for all the new development projects Designs, creates and builds test cases, test plans and test strategies Communicates, prioritizes and tracks test execution, defects and issues Facilitates functional testing, regression testing, UI testing, and unit testing for all new features in cross browser environments including mobile devices Delivers quality products by thoroughly performing regression, functional, integration, end to end testing during each phase of the development life cycle using a combination of testing methods Developments automated test scripts Develops user documentation and training material Performs other duties as assigned Bachelor's degree or Associate's degree in Computer Science with relevant practical experience; or High school diploma with relevant practical experience Savannah River Mission Completion (SRMC), a prime contractor for the US Department of Energy, is responsible for managing the Department of Energy's Savannah River Site's Liquid Waste operations contract. Located in Aiken, South Carolina, SRMC is a limited liability company formed by nuclear operations and environmental remediation global leaders BWXT, Amentum, and Fluor. The SRMC Team is responsible for the closure of waste tanks, the operation of the Savannah River Site's Defense Waste Processing Facility, tank farm operations and associated production and disposal facilities.
