We encourage you to stepbeyond your comfort zone, offering resources and flexibility to foster yourprofessional and personal growth, all while valuing your unique contributions.Apply now for the position of Senior Imaging Research Scientistto developclinically meaningful software innovations in PET, SPECT, and relatedapplications, and support translation into product solutions.Your role:*You will strive to understand current clinicalchallenges and develop creative solutions to address these.*You will generate and drive software innovations fromconcept to prototype to clinical validation to product realization.*Your efforts will be central to shaping our predevelopmentroadmap, which requires complex algorithm development to support theinterpretation of medical images.*You will engage in a diverse and multi-disciplinaryenvironment, interfacing closely with research and software engineering teams,as well as product management, systems engineering, and external academiccollaborators.*You will scout for new applications through researchcollaborations, conferences, publications, healthcare media, and customerinteraction.*Your work will focus on making our software andscanners smarter, faster, more intuitive, generating richer and more clinicallymeaningful results.Your expertise:*M.S. or Ph.D. in physics / computer science /electrical engineering / biomedical engineering or related field.*Minimum of 5 years of experience (advanced degree maybe substituted for experience, where applicable).*A proven record in research, innovative thinking, realworld problem solving, and software prototyping.*Programming skills in C / C++ and at least one otherlanguage (preferably Python), and knowledge of industrial approaches ofsoftware development.*Signal processing, image processing and computervision expertise.
