Overview: Senior Hotel Reservation Specialist Landry's has an open position as a Senior Reservation Specialist to support The Post Oak Hotel at Uptown Houston. The position is located at our Corporate Headquarters in the Galleria area of Houston, TX. We need high caliber, experienced individuals to join our organization. Responsibilities: Answer all incoming calls in a friendly, energetic and efficient manner Deliver an exceptional guest experience in every interaction Operate communication systems, such as telephone, two-way radio and Synxis email requests Provide guests with information concerning the hotel room accommodations, amenities and services Obtain the necessary information from guest and utilize Visual One to input reservations and HOTSOS to communicate service requests Direct calls to guest rooms, staff, or departments through the PBX system. Perform Outbound/Follow-up calls to address guest's requests Suggests relevant upsells and convert calls into reservations Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have at least two (2) years of experience in a customer service setting, hotel/resort reservationist, front desk agent, or equivalent work experience Effective in following and achieving department quality assurance and sales goals Knowledgeable on options offered by the hotels and upsell those options. Willing to learn as options change Exceptional Customer Service skills are essential for this position Excellent communication skills, pleasant phone manner, excellent time-management skills, and the ability to multi-task several systems at once in fast-paced environment Detail-oriented, energetic and self-motivated, able to type efficiently and accurately at a rate of 30 WPM Intermediate computer skills required, i.e. Web Browsing, Email, Typing MS Outlook, Excel, Work and Acrobat Adobe Hours: We operate daily from 7am - 11pm. Scheduling will be mainly based on call volume and needs of the contact center. We offer opportunities to change schedules based on performance.
