In this role, you will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to shape and refine gameplay features, balance game mechanics, craft engaging quests and scenarios, and ensure a compelling player experience.In this role, you willOwn the design and implementation of various major features, such as gameplay systems, quests, and encounters while fostering innovationEffectively communicate project vision to team members of all disciplines, collaborating with product management and marketing teams to ensure player satisfaction and overall game healthSet and maintain high-quality standards for design, actively participating in big-picture decisions to drive superior resultsCreate clear, structured design documents and drive collaborative, iterative prototyping processes, both paper-based and in-gameUtilize data-driven insights to inform design decisions, adjust live balance in real-time, and react quickly to changing project needs, driving to effective solutionsWhat we're looking forMinimum 5+ years of experience shipping multiple titles as a game designer, with expertise in various aspects of game design such as social gameplay features, balance tuning, quest content, and scenario designDeep passion for multiplayer games with a wide breadth of game knowledge and understanding of player motivationsAbility to react quickly to changing project needs and directions, along with strong problem-solving skills and a solution-oriented mindsetExperience with multiplayer cooperative games, systems design, analytics tools/languages/processes, and visual scripting is a plusEPIC JOB + EPIC BENEFITS = EPIC LIFEOur intent is to cover all things that are medically necessary and improve the quality of life.
