In this role, you'll work with a team of designers in order to create engaging scenarios and encounters that support a variety of systems, modes, and playstyles.In this role, you willCollaborate to design encounters and scenarios for players that modify their play patterns, increase replayability of the game, test knowledge and mastery of the game systems and existing game mechanics all while immersing them in the world of LEGO Fortnite and providing fun and delightContribute and help guide the design, vision and outcome for scenario content that supports broad systematic framework needs - new systems, world content, IP integrations, amplifying it and bringing all elements togetherCommunicate and represent a vision for the player's experience to your team members as well as supporting teams of all craftsCollaborate with product management and marketing teams to ensure player satisfaction and overall game healthActively participate in big-picture decisions, and ensure the design team focuses on the right elements to achieve superior resultsDrive collaborative and iterative prototyping, both paper-based and in-gameAttend playtests, provide feedback, and identify practical solutions to problemsWhat we're looking for5+ years of experience shipping multiple titles as a game designer working on scenario/mission content or scripting part of the level design workflowPassion for games with a wide breadth of game knowledgeDemonstrated talent for empathizing with players and a deep understanding of player motivations and forms of playStrong interest in survival and sandbox games with an understanding of what makes them workSolution-oriented problem solver who can react quickly to changing project needs and drive decisionsEPIC JOB + EPIC BENEFITS = EPIC LIFEOur intent is to cover all things that are medically necessary and improve the quality of life.
