You will collaborate closely with other engineers, product managers, and our design team to deliver brokerage web app applications to our diverse client base of over 2 million users. This role requires five days of in-office attendance each week.What will be your responsibilities within IBKR: Design and build scalable web applications within the VueJs ecosystem (VueJs, Vuex, Pinia, Vite, Cypress, webpack)Owning and building high-traffic applications with a focus on speed and user experience.Collaborating with colleagues and peers to ideate, plan, and organize large-scale projects.Contribute and help maintain our company-wide Vue UI Component LibraryAid in Vue3 transitionSet direction and partner with other front-end engineers to implement new technologiesWork with a team of intelligent, intense and fast-moving co-workers.Which skills are required:Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science or related area3+ years of commercial software development experience, with an emphasis on single-page web app developmentHands-on experience with at least one JavaScript framework - React.js/Vue.js/Angular.js (we are Vue.js fans, so Vue.js is a plus!)Highly proficient in JavaScript, HTML, CSS/LESS.Maintain high code quality standards, functional specification documentation, and deliverables.Experience integrating 1st and 3rd party APIs.Experience working with webpack and Vite.A proactive and enthusiastic attitude and technical orientation are required.
