Position: Senior Financial Systems Developer 
Location: Olympia, WA
Job Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Financial Systems Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in developing and maintaining enterprise financial systems, with deep expertise in various programming languages, database management, and specific financial processes. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities: Develop, maintain, and enhance enterprise financial systems. Design and develop databases to support financial applications. Work with Visual Basic 6, Microsoft SQL Server (2000, 2008, 2016), Team Foundation Server (TFS), and Azure DevOps. Implement and maintain Acuity's Sage MAS 500 system for accounts receivable. Handle accounting, payment, interest, cash processing, and invoicing processes within Washington State's government framework. Manage electronic payments using Automated Clearing House (ACH). Cross-reference data between Workday's ERP Foundation Data Model (FDM) and legacy Chart of Account (COA) format. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure systems meet business needs. Provide technical support and troubleshooting for financial systems. Qualifications: Experience: At least 10 years in the development and maintenance of enterprise financial systems. At least 8 years with Visual Basic 6, Microsoft SQL Server (2000, 2008, 2016), TFS, and Azure DevOps. At least 8 years in database design and development. At least 5 years with Acuity's Sage MAS 500 system. At least 5 years of experience with accounting, payment, interest, cash processing, and invoicing processes within the Washington State government, including OFM's AFRS. At least 2 years with electronic payments, specifically ACH. Deep knowledge of Workday's ERP FDM and adept at cross-referencing this with the legacy COA format. Highly Desired Experience and Qualifications: Working knowledge and experience with Microsoft ASP.Net, C#, and VB.Net development. Working knowledge and experience with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS). Working knowledge and experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS). Familiarity with DSHS-specific business processes related to collection, accounting, payment, cash processing, interest, and invoicing.
