This position will have primary responsibility for reviewing and analyzing financial forecasts, budgets and actual results. Provide decision support analysis to assist with business decision making. Analyze impact of changing business trends on current and future operating results.Responsible for reviewing branch financial information loaded into our financial system (Hyperion Financial Management) to ensure accuracy and consistency with FCX practicesAct as a liaison between various locations and financial analysis teamCompile, consolidate and analyze accounting and finance information for the production of financial statements and reportsPrepare variance explanations for financial performance and costs analysisPerform other duties as required.QualificationsMinimum Requirements:High School diploma or GED and nine (9) years professional experience in accounting, including two (2) years in prolong intellectual instruction (certifications, instructed training, OR on the job training, etc..) in Accounting or Finance; ORAssociate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or closely related area and seven (7) years professional experience in accounting or finance; ORBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or closely related area and five (5) years of accounting or finance experience; ORMaster's degree in Accounting, Finance, or closely related area and three (3) years of accounting or finance experience.Strong Excel modeling skillsStrong intra- and inter-department communication skillsStrong writing skillsSelf-motivated and able to manage multiple projects and deadlinesWillingness to travel (less than 5%)Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word and PowerPointPreferred Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and/or FinanceStrong accounting and analytical skillsCPA designationMBABilingual (Spanish and English)Criteria/Conditions:Personal protective equipment is required when performing work in a mine, outdoor, manufacturing or plant environment, including hard hat, hearing protection, safety glasses, safety footwear, and as needed, respirator, rubber steel-toe boots, protective clothing, gloves and any other protective equipment as required.Freeport-McMoRan promotes a drug/alcohol-free work environment through the use of mandatory pre-employment drug testing and on-going random drug testing as allowed by applicable state lawsWhat We Offer YouThe estimated annual pay range for this role is currently$82,000-$113,000.This range reflects base salary only and does not include bonus payments, benefits or retirement contributions. Actual base pay is determined by experience, qualifications, skills and other job-related factors.
