Job Overview:
As a Financial Analyst focusing on Pelvic Health in the United States, you'll play a pivotal role in driving strategic financial planning, forecasting, and analysis. Collaborating closely with key stakeholders across Sales Leadership, Sales Finance, and Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), you'll contribute to the development of standards and deployment of solutions aimed at harmonization, sustainability, and optimization. This position reports to the Senior Finance Manager, US Pelvic Health Sales Finance.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive FP&A support for US Pelvic Health Sales Leadership and Sales Force, including:
- Analytical support for national and regional sales initiatives, competitive analysis, account penetration, and opportunity assessment.
- Development and maintenance of annual sales quotas.
- Measurement & analysis of territory, district, and regional performance against quotas, competition, and historical data.
- Collaborate on the creation of annual Sales Force expense budgets and provide ongoing research and analysis.
- Support sales account administration/realignments to enhance sales force performance management.
- Assist in Field inventory management initiatives.
- Leverage insights to make continuous improvement recommendations and implement approved actions.
- Conduct ad hoc analysis as required.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree required with a minimum of 4+ years of work experience in Finance and/or Accounting in the Medical device or regulated industry.
OR
- Advanced Degree with a minimum of 2+ years of work experience in Finance and/or Accounting in the Medical device or regulated industry.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong business acumen with the ability to learn and understand the business and influence key stakeholders at various management levels.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to identify key trends and drivers.
- Proficiency in utilizing systems/data to provide insightful analysis and implement recommendations.
- Demonstrated initiative, self-motivation, and ability to work independently.
- Experience in a fast-paced high-technology environment, preferably in the medical device industry.
- Proven experience with financial planning, reporting functions, and developing financial analytics.
- Experience with projects requiring high matrix collaboration, relationship building, and influence.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and work well under pressure.
- Tactful, exercises independent judgment, and discretion.
- Intellectual agility and ability to learn quickly.
- Systems experience with SAP, Essbase/Hyperion & Business Objects preferred.
- Experience with Essbase/Hyperion is strongly preferred.
- Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) work experience is a plus.
