Summary/Purpose of Position
Reports to the Associate Director of FP&A and is primarily responsible for spending reporting, including actual spending, forecasting and annual budgets, completion of various spending analyses and monthly financial reporting.
This hybrid role provides flexibility to work 3 days on site weekly in Warwick, RI and 2 days remotely.
Essential Duties and Position Responsibilities
Monthly compilation of actual spending, including explanations of variances to Forecast and Budget
Compiling the projections and annual budget for spending with input from the various department heads for management review for total Surgery
Balance sheet account analysis and reconciliation to the General Ledger
Compiling various spending analyses for management review on a periodic basis
Ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements as well as corporate financial policies
Assist with financial modeling for various investment proposals
Support the platform team providing financial analysis and support of platform business case models
SAP/CONS monthly balance sheet roll forward submission
Various other special projects as assigned
Qualifications, Knowledge, and Skills Required:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration
Minimum 2- 3 years of relevant business experience
CPA, CMA or MBA preferred
Working knowledge of PC based systems, with strong knowledge of spreadsheet packages and database management software.
SAP Business Planning and Consolidation (BPC) a plus
JD Edwards (JDE) a plus
Strong oral and written communication skills as well as excellent organizational skills.
