Essential Duties:
Review interpret and accurately estimate scope of work as described in project documents Execute quantity takeoffs of all applicable CSI sections Perform conceptual estimating to derive building program costs and baseline budget values for privately negotiated work Develop close working relationships with subcontractors and vendors Solicit and collect subcontractors/vendors bids for budgetary and final pricing Verify accuracy in the details of subcontractors/vendors proposals Prepare subcontractors/vendors quotation analysis sheets Organize and archive all documents received and produced Assist with operations changeorders estimating as required by jobs in progress Assist operations with purchasing and definition of subcontractors/vendors scopes Minimum Requirements: College degree in relevant industry or equivalent work experience 710 years of experience in building estimating with a general contractor or construction manager Experience in privately negotiated and GMP contract delivery methods Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Solid knowledge of OnScreen takeoff software or similar Whats In It For You!
