Responsibilities
• Determines and assesses environmental risk• Performs hazardous waste site inspections• Reviews and develops recommendations for facility expansion, modification, or closure• Serves as Project Manager or technical expert on large/complex environmental projects• Evaluates and administers contracts with vendors• Provides guidance on applicable programs and regulations• Contributes to site strategic planning and budgeting• Maintains knowledge of environmental and occupational health regulations• Provides leadership to less experienced engineers and technicians• Represents the site on company-sponsored steering teams
Requirements
• Senior Environmental Scientist: Bachelor's degree and 5 years of related experience, or Master's degree and 3 years of related experience• Senior Environmental Engineer: Bachelor's degree and 5 years of engineering experience, or Master's degree and 3 years of engineering experience• Additional certification or licensure may be required or preferred
