The Role The Sr. Director, Product Manager – ExaSwitch is responsible for enabling product vision, strategy and roadmap focused on the evolution of modern customer centric approach, driving the ExeSwitch vision and roadmap. This position will play a crucial part in incubating and scaling new products for Lumen's growth strategy and will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and customers.

The Main Responsibilities + Strong technical background in optical and IP protocols
+ Successful track record in taking products from conception to market launch, including
-Sales training
-Marketing launches
-Pricing modeling
+ Accountable for overseeing the product's profit and loss, including the management of operating and capital budgets to optimize return on investment and enhance business value.
+ Own the execution of the product roadmap and use highly developed communication skills to interact with senior level executives, customers, and other stakeholders.
+ Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate product performance, inform decision-making, provide recommendations, and drive actions.
+ Analyze market trends, customer feedback, and competitive data to identify opportunities for product enhancements and new feature development.
+ Direct key, complex initiatives to solve mission-critical, high visibility obstacles.
+ Lead, manager and mentor a team of product professionals.
+ Collaborate with Engineering, Marketing, Operations, Field and other teams to align product development with customer needs and company goals.

What We Look For in a Candidate + Previous experience working with Cloud providers
+ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Graphic Design or equivalent experience
+ 10-12+ years of demonstrated full-lifecycle ownership of product development with proven track record of delivering successful and scalable products that solve customer problems and create business value.
+ Ability to earn trust at all levels of the organization and drive alignment.
+ Ability to take ownership and be accountable for the quality of all deliverables.
+ Creative mindset to conceptualize and develop solutions to solve complex market problems.
+ Excellent prioritization and organization skills to manage multiple competing priorities.
+ Experience in working with cross-functional teams in an agile and fast-paced environment.
+ Excellent communication, presentation, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
+ PMI - ACP , SAFe Agilist Certified or equivalent
+ ML and AI implementation
Compensation The starting salary for this role differs based on the employee's primary work location. Employees typically do not start at the top of the range, though compensation depends on each individual's qualifications.
Location Based Pay Ranges $150380 – $200500in these states: AR, ID, KY, LA, ME, MS, NE, SC, and SD.
$158290 – $211050in these states: AZ, AL, FL, GA, IN, IA, KS, MO, MT, NM, ND, OH, OK, PA, TN, UT, VT, WV, WI, and WY.
$166210 – $221610in these states: CO, HI, MI, MN, NV, NH, NC, OR, and RI.
$174120 – $232160in these states: AK, CA, CT, DE, DC, IL, MD, MA, NJ, NY, TX, VA, and WA.
As with the pay range variety that's based on the region of a country, specific offers are determined by various factors such as experience, education, skills, certifications and other business needs.

This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors.
This position is eligible for either short-term incentives or sales compensation. Director and VP positions also are eligible for long-term incentive.
