Job Purpose:
Our Design Project Manager is responsible for project managing packaging design and/or testing opportunities to support the company's strategic business goals. This role will aid in business analysis, operational enhancements and will collaborate with their functional partners to work through projects from concept to completion. Job Responsibilities: Additional Responsibilities & Qualifications: ? Intermediate-level software program experience:
WorkFront. ? Intermediate knowledge of packaging materials:
Corrugate. Fiberboard/Rigid Box. Molded Pulp. Plastics (Films, thermoforms, molded). Foam (Molded/fabricated). Wood. Metal. Labels/Adhesives. Printing (Litho/Offset, Flexo, Digital). ? Intermediate understanding of:
Design principles (including packaging design, retail and e-commerce design, retail display and fixture design). Project management methodologies and best practices. Reporting analytics. Industrial design, engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain in a globally sourced environment. ? Proven experience managing design initiatives to meet the client brief.
? Ability to plan/prioritize activities of varying complexity.
? Ability to understand a business opportunity and how to align design-driven solutions to it.
? Ability to build trust with the team and partners.
Work Experience:
Experience enables job holder to deal with the majority of situations and to advise others (Over 3 years to 6 years)? Experience of supervising and directing people and other resources to achieve specific end results within limited timeframes (13 months to 3 years) Education:
