Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary:
Heitmeyer is seeking a seasoned Data Engineer for its specialized insurance client that is building out an enterprise data platform to integrate with its Telematics system. This role is 100% remote and requires working EST hours. Job Description:
If you are experienced working in data warehousing environments on integrations with APIs, Informatica/IICS, and streaming data platforms then you could be a great fit for our Data Engineer openings! Key responsibilities include data ingestion activities; analyzing raw data, creating data pipelines, processing the data, cleansing data for business use cases, and analytics.  Required Skills: 7-10+ years of dat a engineering experience Experience with Informatica and IICS  Experience with l arge data sets (i.e. transaction processing systems, GPS, Telematics, etc.) Strong SQL skills to write code, create scripts, execute queries and stored procedures, and problem-solve  Experience creating APIs Proficiency and commitment to Agile development and DevOps best practices  Solid communication skills.
