We are seeking a Senior Data Consultant to join our team at our Company, a leading provider of innovative solutions in Tysons Corner, VA. This remote position offers an exciting opportunity for a talented individual with a strong background in data science to make a significant impact on improving supply chain and acquisition processes for the General Services Administration (GSA).
Responsibilities:
Develop and distribute reports, data visualizations, and dashboards using data from various sources.
Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to understand reporting and analysis needs.
Create, maintain, and update tools and applications to support daily operational needs.
Manage deployment of business intelligence tools to ensure end-users can make data-driven decisions.
Liaise with IT and system leads to stay updated on system changes and maintain data accuracy.
Become an expert on client processes, including ordering, invoicing, and database management.
Handle ad hoc data requests, transforming data into easy-to-understand reports.
Participate in stakeholder meetings, providing data-related insights.
Assist with cost and price analysis to support program decision-making.
Provide programmatic business and process advice to GSA.
Proactively work to improve GSA's efficiency with existing and suggested tools and resources.
Regularly consult with GSA stakeholders on process improvements and maintain clear communication.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 6 years of relevant experience.
Bachelor's degree in a related field.
Experience working with large datasets and various data sources.
Proven track record of delivering analytical projects with strong problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Tableau for dashboard creation and integration of data sources.
Strong SQL skills for data querying and manipulation.
Experience with VBA for custom Excel tools.
Comfortable using JavaScript for automating tasks in Google Workspace.
Excellent time management skills and ability to work independently.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Eligible for a Public Trust Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Python for data analysis and automation.
Familiarity with IBM Cognos Analytics for report development.
Familiarity with government programs and DoD systems.
SQL Server database maintenance experience.
Active Secret Clearance or Public Trust Clearance.
Experience working with Federal Government clients.
